• Tentukan dahulu acara yang akan Anda ikuti. Biasanya, model kebaya modern untuk acara pelantikan lebih formal daripada untuk acara undangan pesta. 
• Ukuran tubuh setiap orang tentu saja berbeda. Anda harus mengenali bentuk tubuh Anda untuk menentukan aksen kerah, lengan, atau panjang busana yang dapat menunjang penampilan yang lebih sempurna.
